Horizon was the company that was a very early adopter of Bill Seemanââ?¬â?¢s vacuum resin infusion layup process. (SCRIMP-Seemann Composites Resin Infusion Molding Process) Hence, her foundation is a solid void-less hull thatââ?¬â?¢s just as strong as the day she was laid up! The fit and finish is still in beautiful almost ââ?¬Å?as-newââ?¬ï¿½ condition with NONE of the varnish milking typically found in other production yachts of this vintage. Additionally, the soft goods are all in excellent condition and show the results of a loving and careful stewardship over the past 17 years. The current owner took over the helm as second owner in 2004 with very few hours on the boat and has cruised it every year on repeated trips to the Bahamas and occasionally to New England. Since then, the boat has never sat for more than a few days without a complete flush out of the salt water side of the engine heat exchangers and transmission coolers!
