With the new GT 70, the Hatteras design team focused on creating a standard convertible that also embraces the celebrated style and performance that launched the Carolina legend. Reflected in the characteristics of the GT pedigree the GT70 has sleek long lines, the unmistakable bow flare and tumble home transom. Complete with multiple crew configurations and optional fuel capacity–this boat is ideal for long range traveling.

Built on a variable deadrise running bottom with impact-reducing convex shape at the bow, the GT70 is a boat engineered to excel under any sea conditions. Deep propeller pockets, closed-cell foam coring with solid glass bottom, optional twin 2600 HP MTU 16V2000 CR diesels, optional Sea Keeper gyro stabilization — the technical highlights are many. The benefits: a safe, strong, reliable ride like none other in the premium sport fishing market. In essence, the GT70 is a workhorse with the bearing and grace of a thoroughbred.

A well-equipped cockpit allows for new levels of fishing and cruising in a best-in-class 200 square feet. Its raised mezzanine has cushioned seating protected by an overhang and next to an automatic sliding glass door to the deckhouse. The GT70 delivers a full bait and tackle center, in-deck fish boxes, insulated bait box and mounting plate for a fighting chair.

Hatteras knows that space is sacred on boats, and storage is everywhere — in the steps to the deckhouse, in the sidewalls, in the lazarrette. If you want to bring it, the GT70 can stow it.

The open flybridge offers a pod-style helm with singlelever controls, plus three adjustable helm chairs and three bench seats with reversible seat backs. It’s another fullfeatured area from which to enjoy the journey, a journey only found on a Hatteras GT convertible.
