TIARE is a nice example of the legacy of Hatteras Yachts. Few American Motor Yachts of her era came close to matching the 53' Hatteras Motor Yacht in comfort and luxury and none could match the quality construction long associated with the Hatteras brand. The Hatteras 53's expansive three-stateroom interior was considered ideal in a 1970/1980's motor yacht her size. The wheelhouse is open to the salon, and a centerline double-door leads to a roomy aft-deck area. The galley is down several steps from the helm/salon area on starboard and features an abundance of storage and counter space, and dinette for four. Forward is a guest stateroom with over/under bunks and a private head. Aft of the walk-in engine room is the second guest stateroom with twin berths, hanging and drawer storage. Across from the guest cabin is the guest head that shares the spacious shower with the master head, hanging and drawer storage. Further aft, the master stateroom has walk-around queen berth athwartship, dressing table, abundance of drawer and large hanging locker, ensuite head with shower.
