The Hanse 458 is considered to be the start of Hanse's big boat line up. The volume increase from her smaller sisters is dramatic: the main salon offers loads of space for guests, plenty of prep space in the galley, two generous double cabins aft and class leading forward stateroom with island queen berth and split shower/head compartments port and starboard. Her standard rig is tall enough to provide very good light air performance; coupled with Hanse's signature sailing system, leading all controls to electric winches port and starboard at her duel composite wheel stations, self tacking jib and German main sheet system, the 458 is truly a joy to sail single handed. Stand out equipment includes: real teak on the cockpit sole, seats and swim platform, upgraded sail inventory from Elvstrom, including an in-mast furling main and a Doyle Sails furling Code 0, full compliment of B&G instruments including an AIS radio and EPIRB, dodger, bimini and overlapping connector providing great sun protection, electric fresh water flush toilets, deck mounted solar panels and a shoal draft keel. This is an extremely well maintained original owner boat with only 500 engine hours!
