The Passport 40 by today's standards is considered a heavy Bluewater sailor. In the early 80's when the Passport 40 was introduced it was considered a fairly nimble fast sailing cruiser. The designer, Robert Perry has a number of fast cruisers that are considered fast passage makers. The Passport 40 performs very well and is surprisingly nimble for its size and configuration. Deep forefoot, split underbody, skeg hung rudder along with a powerful rig, let's the boat go to windward, makes it relatively fast through the stays, and gives the boat a comfortable, stable, confidence inspiring feel . Atributes rarely found in this type vessel. Beautifully outfitted below, warm glows and comfortable features.
Pursuit has been owned by the same owner for over 25 years. Many upgrades have been done, and always well cared for. Pursuit is ready for her next adventures.
