This 44 Gulf Star trawler is equipped with naturally aspirated twin 6.354 Perkins diesels. The 8KW Northern Lights generator is new with 31 hours. After a 400 mile trip the fuel burn averaged out to 2.66 miles per gallon while cruising at 7.5 knots.
There are upper and lower helm stations that are both in excellent condition.
Stainless exhaust manifolds & elbows as well as the Exhaust hoses were replaced in 2008
Engine cooling system serviced and all hoses replaced 2008
The 500 gallon fuel tank was emptied, cleaned and fill with fresh diesel in 2008
All three Mermaid air conditioning units were replaced in February 2008. The salon is cooled by a 16500BTU unit and each stateroom has a 5200BTU unit.
The hull was painted with Awlgrip in 2008.
The Whirlpool stack washer and dryer were installed in November of 2011.
The toilets have new holding tanks and two Electrasan septic.
The through hulls and seacocks were all replaced. The props were reconditioned, shafts and rudders had new packing when the bottom job was done in April of 2012.
The gas stove was installed in June of 2012.
There are twelve volt fans located throughout the boat 2013.
The topside was painted with Signature Finish in April of 2013.
The Crosby Fridge works great. There is also a portable ice maker.
There are two portable handheld VHF radios.
The Mercury 3.5HP four stroke outboard has never been used. There is also a nine foot West Marine rigid tender.
