The current owners of Magic Dragon called her home for the better part of three years. They purchased the boat in western Florida, then spent one full season exploring the Florida Keys and two wonderful seasons in the Bahamas, with most of that time in the Bahamas spent in the Abacos, Eleuthera, and the Exumas. The relatively shallow draft (5'6") and short main mast, Magic Dragon can safely and easily travel the ICE. The current owners have explored every mile of the ICW from Miami to New Bern, North Carolina.
Magic Dragon is a comfortable boat both underway and on anchor. The current owners had sailed her for hours on end in 10-12 ft seas, tackled 400 mile passages, and had rode out multiple heavy storms of 50-70 mph winds on anchor. In all situations, the boat responds to big seas with stability and predictability. The prior owners also spent two full seasons in the Bahamas.
