WILD MOOSE is a spectacular 46 Grand Banks Classic. Note that the 46 Classic has been described by the Power Boat Guide as "ranking among the finest cruising yachts ever produced"!

Current owner purchased WILD MOOSE almost two years ago after an exhaustive search for the best boat on the market.  He has continued on with the previous owners outstanding maintenance schedule, but as true yachtsman know, exercising a vessel is also important.  Since 2018, the current owner has cruised the East Coast wintering in South Florida and the Bahamas, while returning to the Chesapeake Bay for her general maintenance at the Zimmerman Yard, who did the extensive refit and yearly punch lists.

In 2012-2013, WILD MOOSE had an extensive 12 month refit at  one of the finest yards in Virginia (Zimmerman's) She was enjoyed during the next season.  In order to make the vessel as reliable and trouble free as possible, a highly regarded marine consultant (Steve D'Antonio) was hired to advise how to make an already wonderful boat even more reliable.  That fall WILD MOOSE was placed back into the same yard for another 6 months for service and upgrades. A key goal of the refit was to increase reliability in systems and minimize concerns that older equipment would fail or require a lot of maintenance. Any mechanical or electrical system that was tired or prone to failure was replaced with new.

Notable Features:

  • Master Island Berth
  • Aluminum Fuel Tanks - new in 2013
  • Stainless Water Tanks - new in 2013
