Solstice is a beautifully maintained 1988 Grand Banks 36 Classic offering the timeless Grand Banks profile, traditional teak interior, two stateroom/two head layout and economical single diesel cruising. Powered by a naturally aspirated 135 HP Ford Lehman diesel with approximately 3,053 hours at the time of listing, she has a reported 7 knot cruising speed and 9 knot maximum speed.
Solstice combines the traditional character of a classic Grand Banks with a number of practical cruising upgrades, including a bow thruster, Victron inverter/charger system, J. Eberspaecher Esslingen diesel fired cabin heat, Hisense 6K Btu portable air conditioner, Starlink satellite internet system and a Gala 300 D inflatable RIB tender powered by a Suzuki 15 HP four-stroke outboard. With 400 gallons of fuel, 154 gallons of fresh water and 40 gallon holding tank, she offers the tankage and accommodations for extended cruising.
Her traditional Grand Banks 36 Classic arrangement provides excellent separation between the forward guest accommodations and aft owner's stateroom. The bright main cabin incorporates the salon, galley and lower helm, while the spacious flybridge provides a second helm and generous seating. Wide teak side decks, stainless-steel railings, a substantial bow pulpit, windlass, Bruce anchor, aft deck and swim platform complete a layout well suited for coastal cruising, the Great Lakes and America's Great Loop.
