This Grand Banks 36 Classic was delivered in August of 1976, hull #499.  Her desirable twin Ammarine marinized John Deere 6404 diesels have proven to be very reliable; twin diesels adding a measure of security and ride stability while underway as well as additional maneuverability in tight quarters.  Boatshed kept since the owner acquired a newer 42 Grand Banks, this boat has continued to receive regular upkeep and enough hours run time per year to keep her systems happy.  She shows her years like a comfortable pair of jeans and is ready for economical cruising.   Transferrable Lake Union slippage is available.

  • Fuel tank tops recently inspected, cleaned, and rust-proofed May 2015.   This is the third time the tops have been rust treated in the boat's history.   Accordingly, the fuel system has NEVER had rust problems resulting in plugged fuel filters or leakage into the bilge which can be problematic on Grand Banks of this vintage.
