Manufacturer Provided Description
The Glacier Bay 260 Canyon Runner is a smooth and comfortable way to zip out to where the trophy-size behemoths run. The 260 flies out 80 miles in a couple of hours even in rough, rolling seas. Its state-of-the-art catamaran hull cuts through wind-whipped chop like a breeze. Extra-large fuel tanks provide the range to go anywhere. The secret behind the 260's wave-slicing ride is a hull that defines the leading edge in catamaran design. Unique tracking pads on the bottom of each hull ensure arrow-straight tracking even in heavy seas. Lifting chines flare to the front for superior roll stability and spray deflection. The Canyon Runner's stylish command center is an ergonomic marvel. Both the throttle and steering wheel are easily within reach. There's ample room for gauges and switches with plenty of space to flush mount electronics. A door in the head provides ready access to the back of the instrument panel. A spacious head, inside the console, offers plenty of elbow room. The Canyon Runner is loaded with features. A large working deck measuring nearly eight-feet square gives plenty of room to work the big ones. An aggressive non-skid surface ensures footing during battle. The crowned deck sheds water into strategically placed gutters to be drained by four large scuppers. Up front, a large bow roller secures the anchor. It's flanked by oversized, hinged fiberglass hatches. The casting platform features a large storage bin and insulated fish well. Amidships, are two 180-gallon fish wells - storage bins. A sink is molded into the aft combined with a cutting board and tackle box.
