Formula has been producing high-quality, high-performance boats for years, and this boat is a shining example of it! There are few powerboat brands on the market with a stellar reputation, and Formula is on the top of that list. A closer look at the 260 Bowrider will show you why. This model starts with Formula's grid stringer system, which provides a solid skeleton for the hull and provides the ability to have not only a hand-laminated exterior, but also a gel-coated bilge for appearance and easy clean up! Additionally, all of the cavities in the grid system are filled with foam to provide extra flotation and sound deadening.
The engine was replaced in 2017 and has low hours. It is 350 hp and runs like a dream with a stainless steel performance Duoprop attached. This boat provides exactly the great performance you would expect from a Formula boat!
To port, the lounge can be used as an aft-facing chaise or a bench seat for two. The back rest and port side dashboard conceal a spacious head. Just behind the lounge lies the wet bar. To starboard, the 260 has a U-shape lounge that wraps from behind the dual-position two person helm seat to the stern bench. A standard removable dinette table can be set at two heights, one for dining and a second, lower setting that provides a base for another filler cushion for lounging in the sun. If you would like to take a dip, there is a generous swim platform and ladder astern, with a fresh-water rinse off once you get back on board.
This vessel has been very well-maintained and lift-kept, with the hull, gel-coat, upholstery, and mechanics in amazing shape. You have to experience this boat cruising on the water: all the power you need without the noise found in lesser brands.
