Fjord 40 Open - "SET-BREAK"
Built in 2010 by Fjord in Germany, the SET-BREAK is a 42-foot open motor yacht that means business on the water. Clean lines, a straight bow, teak side decks, and an open cockpit with a T-top give it that sharp Scandinavian look that Fjord is known for.
Below deck there's room for four - two double cabins and a head - keeping things simple and functional. No frills, just a solid layout for a weekend out.
Twin Volvo Penta D6-IPS500s push 380 HP each through pod drives with joystick docking, making it easy to handle at the marina. A Fischer Panda generator keeps things running when you're away from the dock, and the 264-gallon diesel tank means you're not stopping often.
Up at the helm, a Garmin GPSMAP 7612xsv chart plotter, autopilot, depth sounder, and VHF radio cover all the navigation basics. The distinctive flat green hull with a grey boot stripe makes it easy to spot from the dock.

Twin Volvo Penta D4 IPS400 diesels push 300 HP (221 kW) each through pod drives with IPS joystick docking, making it easy to handle at the marina. Fresh water cooling keeps the engines running efficiently, and the fully sound-insulated engine room means you barely notice them underway. The 1,000-liter diesel tank with deck filler and dedicated fuel filter means you're not stopping often. Safety is handled by an automatic fire extinguisher system in the engine room.
Teak throughout — covering the cockpit, side decks, and foredeck. Six retractable mooring cleats positioned at the bow, midship, and aft keep docking clean and flush. A manual swim ladder is built into the center of the swim platform. Horn onboard.
