This boat was repowered and refitted to fish Alaska and Washington as well as the waters of Hawaii, with multiple cross Pacific trips for that purpose. The open water ketch has been re-designed to troll for fish, and is currently set up to for salmon. The seller says if you get a permit you can make $30K to $40K in 3 months.
The vessel is equipped with aluminum trolling poles with stabilizers, and two insulated slush tanks (approx. 2.5' x 4' x 6'). There are two pairs of Nomar brailer bags with each bag capable of holding 1,000 Lbs. of fish plus ice or 1,300 Lbs. of chum without ice. The boat is equipped to fish 40 lines (spreaders) at once. The seller reports the engine burns only 0.8 gallons of fuel per hour while fishing.
The four sails include a mainsail, a mizzen sail, a staysail jib. and a headsail with a Pro-Furl roller furling. It is equipped with four Harken halyard winches and four Harken sheet winches.
It has a head with a shower, and the galley has a propane stove currently in operation, as well as a diesel stove (not used - personal preference) beneath.
The electronics on this boat are extensive. A list can be provided upon request.
