The Dufour 2800 was Dufours most successful product and best seller. Due to their non competitive price due to their stressing quality over quantity, the 2800 was not marketed in North America in the late 70's/early 80's. Its easily single handed with tiller steering and all lines to the cockpit. It has both coastal and offshore capability with proper crewing.Will comfortably cruise four adults. Went through major refit in 2002 with canvas replacement, upgraded sails,new cushions, new electronics,etc.Engine overhaul in 2005. Bottom job completed 2009 with three coats at waterline and two below.Exhaust manifold replaced 2011.
