2007 DORAL 31' INTRIGUE

Style, spacious accommodations and performance best describe the Doral 31 Intrigue. For those not familiar with Doral, this was a well-built Canadian cruiser with a fully cored hull, a wide 11-foot, 2-inch beam and twin engine power.
The interior features a curved, aft-facing dinette, ample galley and stylish woodwork. The layout features two berths, one forward and an aft stateroom that is surprisingly large and includes a cushioned seat in the entryway.
A hallmark of Doral was an interior with quality workmanship and many quality amenities.
Topside, the cockpit can seat up to ten by extending the convertible aft bench out over the swim platform (which adds about 20 square feet to the cockpit area). A windshield walk-through provides easy access to the foredeck. Visibility from the raised helm is excellent. A cockpit wet bar, removable table, and fender racks are standard.
This Doral features twin Volvo Penta engines (one new) with Duo Props. The boat is located at our Fort Lauderdale store.

Exterior Design and Deck Features
Starting at the bow, the Intrigue is equipped with a custom forged plow anchor, roller, and windlass, including a plug for remote operation. To port, a locker houses a washdown connection, while sturdy bow rails ensure safety when moving forward. The front features a full-frame windshield with a center walkthrough and a driver's side wiper. A notable highlight is the three-piece, heavily padded sun pad that provides ample space for relaxation. Moving aft, the cockpit arch supports a remote spotlight and antennas, and it can be tilted forward via a motorized switch to clear low bridges or underpasses. The bimini's back posts are removable for added clearance. The port side of the cockpit includes a luxurious station with a clear plexiglass chart cover and a padded rear-facing lounger, complete with drink and bottle holders adjacent to a wet bar with sink and a U-line ice maker. The helm features a double-wide bench seat with a flip-up bolster for stand-up driving, a three-spoke tilt wood steering wheel, and instrumentation including a Raymarine 48 VHF, C-120 chart plotter, Clarion stereo remote, and conveniently grouped rocker switches. The aft cockpit boasts a large U-shaped bench seat with a removable section for easy access to the bow via side walkways. A movable rear seat can be closed to provide shade or create more space on the teak-covered swim platform. Storage compartments are integrated beneath the bench seating. The engine hatch opens smoothly to reveal twin Volvo Ocean Series stern drives and dedicated storage for the cockpit table and filler cushion. Additional features include a tinted glass walkthrough to the swim platform, a double fender holder, dock power connections, a central stern trunk, and a four-step telescoping swim ladder centered on the broad swim platform.
Interior Living Spaces
Access to the cabin is through a companionway door featuring both a screen and a solid door for privacy. The interior includes an oversized mid-cabin with a double berth and a unique pleated privacy door, offering ample space even for taller individuals. Adjacent to the mid-cabin is a cedar-lined hanging closet for clothing storage. The galley is appointed with elegant wood cabinetry, a microwave oven, solid countertops, and a covered two-burner cooktop with a stainless protective cover. Below the countertop, a Norcold refrigerator and utensil drawers provide practical storage. Opposite the galley is a full stand-up head equipped with a toilet, vanity, and a pull-out shower wand. Forward lies the main V-berth, which features an LCD TV, speakers, reading lights, and under-berth storage, all contributing to a refined ambiance. Privacy curtains can be drawn for overnight guests. The starboard-side lounge offers a comfortable dining area with a wood tabletop. Entertainment amenities such as a CD changer, stereo head, and DVD player are mounted on the cabin wall, along with the main power panel.

The Intrigue measures 33 feet 2 inches in length, including the swim platform, with a beam of 11 feet 2 inches. It offers optional power configurations including twin Volvo, Cummins, and Mercruiser engines, with gasoline and diesel options up to 320 horsepower each. During testing in the Intracoastal Waterway near Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the boat demonstrated responsive handling and smooth maneuverability in tight quarters. Its optimal cruising speed was recorded at approximately 26.9 miles per hour at 3500 rpm, with a top speed reaching 38.2 miles per hour.
