Up to 6" of sprayed urethane foam inside of hull & superstructure down to the waterline as superb insulation in hot or cold climates. After sandblasting and epoxy priming the completed hull, M/V Diesel was moved from McNally to Whitby, Ontario for the paint job and interior work. Custom Yacht Builders were selected for the Awlgrip paint process which was completed in 2002.  The stainless steel work was manufactured and executed by Martin Klacko of Grimsby.  M/V Diesel Duck was then moved into a large building next to Whitby Marina and the PDQ yard. The original owner, a professional Electro-mechanical Engineer, did the technicals. Interior wood construction was completed by two expert German craftsmen. M/V Diesel Duck was launched May 2005.
