Dickerson Boatworks in Maryland, famous for their cruising sailboats, built a few Downeast cruisers and Jean Louise is one of those few. (Reportedly four were built) They took a solid fiberglass downeast hull and finished her with a wooden superstructure and deck. With her Naturally aspirated 140 Perkins (785 hrs) she cruises at 8 Kts (2gph) and tops out at 11. She sleeps two in a v berth and has a head just aft.She features a recently awl gripped flag blue hull and new(2015) white painted topsides with gray painted non-skid decks. Also in 2015 new sliding side windows for the cabin. New canvas and fresh brightwork, deck and superstructure painted 10/18.
