This is a Ray Hunt designed and built hull, then finished by Dettling craftsman by hand in Denton, Maryland. Vessel Walkthrough
The spacious Aft Deck has a teak high/low fold-out table that seats six. Teak decking shows very little wear. The fixed settee on the aft bulkhead of the pilothouse seats two.
The pilothouse is immediately inside from the aft deck. The redundancy on this yacht is incredible, there are 4 separate GPS plotting systems and an emergency 12V. back up battery system to keep essential navigation functions operable at all times. There is an overhead hatch that when opened allows the helmsman to stand with their upper body outside and pilot the boat with another set of controls and GPS. Additionally, there is a port side wing station, with an additional bow thruster control, this allows for docking with good visibility.
The Main Salon entrance is down a gently sweeping staircase from the pilothouse. The Salon is well lit, with large glass windows positioned to allow full-horizon visibility from a standing or seated position. An L-shaped settee with a high/low expanding teak table is to starboard, and two swiveling occasional chairs are to port. A TV is in an enclosed cabinet is mounted on the forward counter, four opening hatches with screens overhead, bottle and glass storage, and access to the electrical panel. All interior wood joinery is teak and finished with six coats of hand-rubbed varnish.
The Galley is immediately forward, adjoining the Salon and down two steps. This lets the cook be a part of the "action" in the salon. This design feature was ahead of its time. The Galley is spacious and functional and has abundant storage, natural light, and ventilation. Corian counters, dual stainless sinks, teak cabinets with recessed lighting all make for a comfortable and functional space for the chef. Additionally, one of the burners on the range is wired to the 110v. inverter so that a quick lunch or cup of tea can be made without having to run the generator.
Immediately forward of the Galley is the Owner's Stateroom, which features a generous walk-around queen-sized berth, ample storage (bookcases, night tables, under-berth storage drawers, and hanging lockers). The massive en-suite head is forward, with a separate tiled stall shower. The headroom is 6'6". This bathroom rivals those of land-based homes and condos.
Down three steps from the Main Salon, aft is the Guest Stateroom, which features an offset queen berth to port and an en-suite head and stall shower to starboard. In addition, there is a laundry area with a separate washer/dryer. Thru the aft area of this stateroom is an access door to the stand-up Engine Room.
