OWNERS COMMENTS:
âI selected DeFever after a long review of other manufacturers in the same class, although I would say the layout and functionality puts the (44+5) model in a class by herself. Specifically the distinctive features are the large and comfortable fly deck, the large afterdeck which I use extensively for dining and entertaining, the incredibly spacious and well laid out engine room, kitchen and galley arrangement and the captainâs stateroom. I remember going back and forth between two or three possible choices at the 2002 Annapolis Boat Show and in the end being absolutely sure of my decision.
My travels in the LEPRECHAUN include completing the Great Circle Route (2003 thru 2004), trip from Niceville to and from the Exhumas (2006), circumnavigating the Caribbean 2007 thru 2008 (Niceville to Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, US and British Virgin Islands, the Lesser Antilles, the Leeward Islands, Venezuela, Dutch Antilles, Columbia, Panama, Honduras, Guatemala, Belize and Mexico). I will forward you detailed log of the Caribbean trip with a companion CD continuing numerous pictures if you so desire. I believe this 6.5 month journey, complete with the long sea passages should interest your readers.
Prior to owning the LEPRECHAUN I charted sailboats in the BVI, New Zealand, Tonga, Chesapeake Bay, and Long Island Sound. Iâve also crewed in San Francisco Bay and the Channel Islands off California.â?
Port engine hours 2360.7
Strb engine hours 2325.5

Up grades... bright work and going to the boat yard for bottom paint, boot strip 4-13 -10
