HANNA is a 38 foot tri-cabin bridgedeck cruiser built in 1927 by the Schertzer Brothers on their yard of the north shore of Lake Union. HANNA is a welcome balance between the reliability of new systems while still allowing you to cruise with the charm of yesteryear.
Originally christened as "Sandpiper II", she was built for Stanley Piper, Commodore for the Bellingham Yacht Club, and is one of the few Schertzer Brothers designed boats still gracing the inland waters of the Pacific Northwest. HANNA took First Place in the 1928 Olympia to Ketchikan Predicted Log Race proving you do not need a large vessel to travel the Inside Passage.
Over the past 70 years HANNA has been lovingly cared for by only two different owners and has been continually kept under covered moorage. A 6-month sub-lease for covered moorage at Jensen's Marina in Friday Harbor is available.
