The BOODAH is a very special Custom EXSF featuring cold molded construction. I sold the vessel for the original owner which had the boat built for his son as a "no frills Fish Boat" Unfortunately the son was never able to enjoy his new boat. I sold the boat to its second owner (in the spring of '99) of Gloucester, MA. The second owner enjoyed his boat for the next 11yrs. (approx.) using it for tuna and ground fishing for approx. 5 months a year. The second owner maintained the vessel nicely, having all of the updates proscribed by Caterpillar accomplished, however very little other systems were updated. At the time of sale to the current (3rd) owner the boat (still in original finish, trim, equipment etc.) had never been slept on and the shower never used nor the galley ever cooked in. When the current owner arrived in South Florida in route to his Panhandle Florida home port a local Caterpillar mechanic advised the owner the computer indicated Less Than 20% average load on the engines since new.
The current owner of the BOODAH has greatly enhanced the utility, livability and beauty of his boat. Painted in 2011 etc..... The BOODAH is a large 44' Express SF and is very economical to operate and a very kind sea boat. The boat will "plane" at 1400rpms and at 1650 cruises at an economical 23Kts+/-. Fast cruise 27-28kts with 31kts. +/- WOT
