"Blessed Assurance" is a VERY rare find in today's market! Build by the well-known Jones Boatyard in MD, she was issued a hull number in 2005, but was not completed and commissioned until 2007. She is rare in that she is one of very few of the Jones boats built with a flybridge, and that she was also built with a few more "cruising amenities" than the typical Jones build. A true Chesapeake "Deadrise" design, "Blessed Assurance" is both as beautiful to look a as she is a performer. Powered with a single CAT 580hp 3406 turbo diesel (665 hours), she cruises an easy 18-20 knots with a top speed of about 24 knots. Her beautiful burgandy hull was JUST painted, as was her cockpit, house and flybridge (all in 2021). She looks NEW!! Other recent additions are a diesel generator, bow thruster, and Garmin electronics at lower and upper stations. Her covered cockpit is tremendous and built to fish, and she features a third cockpit control station, as well as plenty of built-in coolers, fish boxes, and gear storage. Her spacious cabin includes a pilothouse/salon/galley with convertible dinette, a separate stateroom forward with upper and lower berths, and a private head with shower. Although built for serious fishing, she is comfortable enough for coastal cruising. Her flybridge is accessed via a fixed ladder and overhead hatch, and features a huge cockpit overhang, centerline helm station with full controls and electronics, and two bench-style seats. If you are looking for something beautiful and unique, yet built on tradition, you need to visit "Blessed Assurance". Truly one-of-a-kind!!
