The Cobia 217 CC is renowned for being an overachiever, designed for serious offshore anglers who also want to take the family cruising on the weekend. Featuring a V hull, sharp entry, and high freeboard, this boat is designed to handle rough, choppy water better than most in its class. Manufactured by the acclaimed Maverick Boat Group, this boat is built to last with a no-wood, no-rot, composite construction.
The transom provides some insight; the top swings back to create a seat built into the transom itself, rather than folding down and eating into cockpit space. Then, flip the seat bottom out and down and peek at the bilge access. You'll see that the bottom of the transom live well is foamed for insulation, then gel coated so that the foam is sealed away from bilge moisture.
