Beautiful 1963 Chris-Craft 46' Motor Yacht! Transferrable Live Aboard Slip! Ready Cruise, Show or your new home!.

Currently in a transferrable live aboard slip!!

This is a truly beautiful wooden Chris-Craft that has been loved and cared to the highest standards.

She is in very-nice condition and is currently in covered moorage on Lake Union in Seattle. Mechanically she has been repowered with Chris-Craft 454 gas engines driving Paragon transmissions. She will cruise easily at 12knots or so and push to 20 should you desire.

Hauled out for Survey when the original owners purchased in 2021, she was found to be in excellent condition!

Original genset was removed during past ownership and is still absent as current owners have had no need to replace. All wiring/through-hulls for such are still present should you desire to install.

Fresh water system replaced by the previous owners to include lines/pumps and aluminum fresh water tank.

Water system also includes dual filters and UV filtration system. The front head is electric and the rear head is equipped with a Vacuflush system. At the time of this restoration in the early 2000's, extensive dry dock repairs were made to maintain her like-new condition which also included fuel tanks.

The previous owners were caretakers for this boat for many decades and she was truly a part of the family. No expense was spared in maintaining her in excellent condition. All paperwork both original and during life of vessel comes with her purchase, including receipts and photo documentation of haul-outs and restoration, plus many original brochures and such. She also comes with a number of plaques for best in show honors.

The water heater was replaced in 2022 and a new diesel heater. She is equipped with multiple automatic fire suppression systems as well as a Racor filter system with fuel shut-off panel. There are 2 engine batteries and 6 6-volt house batteries wired in series-parallel. All in good condition.

In many aspects, the boat shows as she did new when built for the Commodore of the Tacoma Yacht Club. A few interior furnishings have been changed since the interior pictures were taken (new galley faucet, replaced rear desk), but nothing has been altered and anything changed has be retained and comes with the boat (including the original desk).

The galley is original minus new style 12/120 volt Vitrifigo fridge, but shows very nicely and all fully-functional.

She is a rare 'convertible' example of a Constellation and everything works at the helm as should. She is also a Coast Guard certified vessel. Steps down lead into the salon. To the rear is the aft stateroom with twin beds and head with shower. Forward of the galley is an additional berth with twin beds and then a forward head in the 'V'.

All the wood is in excellent condition and survey of fasteners finds no issues. She is currently in the process of an annual upkeep of brightwork to include stripping and varnishing of the toe-rails, but is always maintained in "relaxed show condition". Teak decking is in excellent condition. Canvas in excellent condition. New bottom paint and zincs in 2021 when surveyed. Diver inspected the anodes and bottom condition.

As with any classic boat/yacht, there are always little things that you can put your attention to, but she needs nothing and can currently take you anywhere you'd like to go. The current owner is a Coast Guard mechanic and has maintained the vessel to military standards

She is also equipped with a center-console Flexboat rib with Yamaha 25 hung on rear davits. The dinghy shows some age but in nice operable condition.

As mentioned, the boat is actively operated and just completed two trips. One to the CYA yacht show in downtown Seattle, and another to the Chris-Craft Rendezvous in Port Orchard. She performed flawlessly and a few photos have been added from these adventures.
