This Catalina has had some nice modifications which enhance its livability while not detracting from its original Chris Craft charm. Starting in the forward guest cabin you will find a pair of stacked bunks to starboard with a locker and sink to port. A head (currently in-op) is hidden under the seating. Aft of the guest cabin is the large galley and dinette. A large porcelain sink with upgraded faucet, microwave, toaster oven and plenty of storage for galley gadgets. The new refrigerator is hidden behind the original door to maintain the period look.
Up three steps to the main salon with doors to port and starboard. A comfortable space with loveseat, chair and coffee table situated to view the large screen TV that lifts from the forward bulkhead. From here you can go up to the helm and large seating area or down to the captain's quarters. The captain's quarters are where you will see the most significant modifications. The original head has been converted to a workshop creating a great place to hold your tools and supplies. The midship guest stateroom has been converted to a large head and shower compartment. The twin bed configuration in the captain's stateroom was combined into a queen-sized berth. Original Chris Craft cabinetry was maintained.
There is plenty of exterior seating between the large aft cockpit and upper level at helm with comfortable chairs and couches. The aft deck can be accessed either from the helm or through a door from the captain's stateroom.
