"Bristol" is a Flybridge motor yacht built by Murray Chris Craft who's company took over production in 1981. This is a fresh water only yacht, which has been maintained annually. Each winter the boat has been kept in a heated building. Everything works on this boat. It is in great condition with lots of upgrades, such as modern electronics and lots of other equipment.
The Chris Craft 500 Constellation is a classic motor yacht known for its spacious interior, solid construction and reliable performance making it ideal for cruising and exceptional live-aboard experiences. Built of solid fiberglass construction, she has a semi-displacement, deep-V hull with a deep forefoot - with slightly rounded bilges of which provides stability and comfort underway or at rest.
The shaft, muffs (couplers) & props along with the spare stub shaft were expertly redone with all new keys and hardware at Kahlenberg in Two Rivers, WI. Four new cutlass bearings were installed and stuffing boxes were repacked and shafts aligned.
Engine access is good. Ventilation complies with ABYC standards as does everything else in this vessel.
Her spacious layout includes two staterooms and living areas making it suitable for extended stays and guest entertaining. Bristol offers a great blend of ample space, comfort, style and functionality with lots of appeal.
The forward stateroom has the guest cabin with double bed and ample storage, a cedar-lined closet and a head with a walk-in shower stall. The aft stateroom has a queen-sized bed, mirrored headboard, rope lighting perimeter, make up table, teak cabinets, custom dressers and teak side walls. A large head/shower is located to port and a cedar lined closet to starboard. It's very spacious and in good condition.
The inside helm is located in the pilot house with upper salon behind the helm seat, which is very spacious and accommodating for comfortable seating. Forward is a step down galley with all the cooking space and appliances you would like to starboard and an L-shaped dinette to port.
Midships there's a day head, office space and washer/dryer. There's a total of 3 heads and 2 showers. All have white counters with molded in sinks, chrome fixtures.
At the stern there's a swim platform with a SS ladder up to the transom door and another door allows you to enter to the main salon. A retractable SS swim ladder extends from the portside of the swim platform. The aft deck freeboard is 49" with a 4 degree dead rise at the transom.
The forward deck is roomy with seating, 3 deck lockers on the bow and anchor ground tackle including the electric windlass. The flybridge is particularly spacious with a topside helm and lots of seating with a table for entertaining. The inside helm is spread across most of the beam with an impressive display of electronics and controls. Wing doors port and starboard make it easy for the helmsperson to walk outside the boat's interior.
