This 1947 Chris-Craft Commander 47 is an American Classic Motor Yacht with distinguished lines, a commanding presence, and room for elegant cruising. The 47 Commander features a flybridge with a hardtop above the aft cockpit deck. It has spacious salon, galley, and forward cabin. The master stateroom is aft with a full head. Powered by twin 8V53T Detroit diesels she's ready to cruise. Own this piece of history and turn some heads at the marine with this classic motor yacht!
The helm features a large bench seat centered in front of the helm wheel and controls.
There is cabinet storage to either side of the helm.
The aft cockpit area is adored with wicker furniture and a glass tabletop. There are plexiglass windows that can be closed to protect you from the elements or opened to allow a breeze in. A transom door is located starboard aft to gain access to the swim platform.
The swim platform has a center mounted telescoping swim ladder for access from the water to the platform.
A ladder located just forward of the cockpit seating area leads to the flybridge. The flybridge is fitted with three chairs with helm controls to operate the Commander 47 from.
An entry way starboard of the helm leads into the salon below deck.
The salon is carpeted with two chairs and a sofa to relax and entertain. There are cabinets to starboard and the AC/DC electric panels to port.
The aft stateroom holds twin beds with a dresser between them. There is also a make-up table with mirror, and two large closets on either side of the cabin.
The full bath is located to starboard. It features a sink with storage below, a toilet, and shower stall.
Forward the salon is a dinette to starboard and the galley to port. The dinette can be converted into a berth and has a large window behind it.
The galley features the original Frigidaire refrigerator/freezer, a dual stainless steel sink, an oven, a stove beneath the Formica cover, and a microwave.
Forward of the galley is the forward stateroom with a pair of beds with storage beneath along with a dresser.
At the bow there is a half bath with a toilet and sink. There is a opening hatch above.
The side decks with railing can be accessed from either side of the cockpit area through doors that can be closed or locked open to provide a breeze.
At the bow deck area you'll find a portable gangway with cover, two dock boxes, a windlass and bow pulpit. There is spacious bow seating provided from a large deck lounge complete with cover.
