This Cheoy Lee 43 is one of the best cared for examples of this stout Bob Perry designed yacht. The Pilothouse, with interior steering, provides great visibility and keeps you warm and dry on those less than sunny days we sometimes have. This particular yacht has had the teak decks removed, deck coring replaced where needed, was re-glassed and professionally painted. This work, along with new standing rigging was accomplished during a reported $200,000 refit in 2004/2005.
She has 3 staterooms and 2 heads. Her cruising range is 2000 miles under power alone, with out raising her sails! She also has enough horses in her 6 cylinder diesel to economically power her through our currents and passes. Her engine burns 2.5 GPH at her cruising speed of 7 3/4 knots. With the sails up, you will be pleasantly surprised with METEORA'S performance. Her easily driven, low wetted surface hull is pulled along by a pair of crisp new foils that make this boat lively, and responsive to a sailor's touch.
