The boat features a full-beam cabin below deck equipped with amenities such as a head, mini-galley, and entertainment system, allowing it to comfortably sleep two people. Its load capacity is primarily limited by seating arrangements, making it ideal for social boating.

The full-beam cabin is a standout feature of the 337 SSX, offering a surprisingly spacious interior finished with warm wood-grain accents. The optimal cruising speed was 23 miles per hour at 3,500 RPM, consuming 9.4 gallons per hour and providing a range of 330 statute miles with a 10% fuel reserve. Offshore handling is commendable, with the extended V-plane hull design contributing to quicker planing, improved fuel efficiency, and excellent seakeeping in rough conditions.
