The Catalina 36 was a hit in 1983 when the early model came out. The 36 enjoyed a production run from 1983 to 2006. In 1994 the 36 Catalina evolved into the Mk II. The changes made in the Mk II improved overall comfort and performance. The new design increased the beam in the aft section of the boat which resulted in a wider cockpit and transom while also increasing the size of the aft cabin. Interior improvements included increased headroom, redesigned galley, and a vee berth access door to the head. Performance was enhanced via an elliptical rudder and the addition of a more efficient and powerful Universal 4 cylinder M-35 diesel.
Insatiable has been owned and enjoyed by the current owners since 2001. They have cruised the boat throughout our local islands and So Cal. Health and age has limited their use of the boat and it is time to let someone else have their turn at making memories.
