Catalina 30 TR MKII "Roundabout" was in the water when Hurricane Sandy blew through. It did not get holed or sunk but did sustain some bow damage and stanchions were bent. The insurance company deemed it too expensive to repair. It was auctioned off and a tech here at RCR purchased the boat and repaired the bow and replaced the stanchions. He also replaced many parts. It is now better than before. The Catalina 30 TR is an excellent racer or cruiser. There's plenty of space below for extended cruising and a large cockpit for daysailing. Priced below similar C-30's, it can be seen at any time.
