The Catalina 250 is a great family cruising sailboat with decent interior amenities to include a large aft cabin with queen size berth, forward double berth, wrap around main salon seating with a center mounted table, which drops to berth level to open up sleeping. The portside head is completely private with a door. Inside is a vanity with sink, hanging locker and head. The L- shaped galley is across to starboard with a sink, storage and good counter space. The self-bailing cockpit has catbird seats in the stern rail. There are two cockpit lockers port and starboard and another lazerette locker under the tiller. The transom is open for easy access to the outboard on the starboard side and to the SS swim ladder on the port side. There are cockpit coaming winch handle holders, a nice and safe bridge deck with the easy to reach traveler. Forward there is a deck locker. The shrouds are inboard for easy walking forward. The mast is hinged and carries a masthead sail plan. The Catalina 250 is a very popular design and offers a great deal of sailing fun and comfort. She is marketed as a go anywhere boat easily trailered, launched, rigged, etc. on any body of water you choose. Her water ballast holds 1,000 lbs. of additional weight while sailing and 1,000 lbs. less for trailering.
