Skinny Water Capability. Low-Hour Power. Ready for Your Next Fishing Adventure.
If you've been searching for an affordable, dependable inshore fishing boat that can reach places larger boats simply can't, this 2017 Carolina Skiff JVX 20 deserves a close look. Built with Carolina Skiff's proven modified-V hull, the JVX 20 offers an impressive combination of shallow-water capability, stability, easy trailering, and low operating costs-making it an excellent choice for rivers, tidal creeks, lakes, marshes, and the Chesapeake Bay.
Power comes from a 2017 Evinrude E-TEC 90 HP direct-injected two-stroke outboard with only 19 original hours. The E-TEC platform is well known for strong acceleration, fuel efficiency, low maintenance requirements, and lightweight performance, making it an ideal match for the JVX 20 hull. Whether you're cruising with the family or heading to your favorite fishing spot, this package delivers reliable performance with exceptionally low engine time.
One of the biggest advantages of this Carolina Skiff is its extremely shallow 4-inch draft, allowing you to explore water that many traditional boats simply cannot reach. Combined with the wide beam and oversized casting decks, you'll enjoy outstanding stability while fishing or moving around the boat.
The open deck layout is designed with anglers in mind. A factory livewell, non-skid fiberglass decks, generous storage compartments, and a 12-volt trolling motor plug make this boat ready for serious fishing while remaining simple to own and maintain.
At the helm, the center console provides excellent visibility and features full instrumentation, tilt steering, and lockable storage for your valuables. The Bimini top offers welcome shade during long summer days on the water, while the spacious cockpit provides plenty of room for family, friends, and gear.
This package also includes the trailer, and with a total towing weight of under approximately 2,500 pounds, it's easy to tow behind many midsize SUVs and half-ton trucks. Whether you're heading to Lake Anna, the James River, the York River, the Potomac, or the Chesapeake Bay, transporting this boat is simple and convenient.
Located at Commonwealth Boat Brokers in Ashland, Virginia, just minutes north of Richmond, this Carolina Skiff is an outstanding opportunity for buyers looking for a clean, low-hour center console without paying new boat prices.
