$25,000 price drop for the new year! Come see this boat before she's gone!
"Magic" is a rare breed, she is a C&C 51, designed by the same C&C Design Team that designed the earlier Baltic 51. A combination of C&C quality, an efficient hull design and sail plan, make her a very quick, stable boat. Her owners reached 14.5 knots on her way down to Georgia from the Chesapeake in the fall, with a 35-knot wind on the stern, mainsail only. She has been cruising the Caribbean since she was commissioned in 1991. In 2005 the current owners purchased Magic from the original owner. Over the past 10 years, Magic has had significant upgrades including a new Yanmar diesel in 2007, rod rigging in 2005, 4.2kw Entec West Genset in 2008, wind generator in 2007, updated electronics, and recently a new bimini frame capable of holding an array of solar panels, 60A MPPT solar controller already installed. Brand new air conditioning installed upon her return to Annapolis in 2015. Two new captains chairs in the salon have just been added and exterior teak cockpit decking has just been cleaned.
Magic has a well appointed interior that is plush and roomy. She has three staterooms and two heads. Two owners cabins with full size heads and shower stalls. The V-berth forward has an open head as well. Her large galley offers plenty of storage, lots of counter space and equipped with a three burner propane stove and oven, Adler Barbour refrigeration/freezer system in 2011.
Her hull is kevlar reinforced for added strength, the fin keel with centerboard will allow you to cruise the island shallows and swiftly travel to the next destination with speed. Her bottom had a preventative barrier coat applied in 2009. Sail control is easy with hydraulic primary winches and main halyard winch, a hydraulic backstay and boom-vang. Genoa and main sheets are easily reached from the helm for easy short handed cruising, as well as halyards and reef lines are run aft to the cockpit cabin top winches.
This is a sailor's yacht, she is a perfect blend of performance and comfort without compromising on either, perfect for couples cruising. C&C built this yacht with top quality materials, strength, and safety in mind. Magic is hull #2 of only nine built and the only one currently on the market. The last C&C 51 was sold in 2009. She has a proven track record for sailing offshore and extended cruising throughout the Caribbean for the past 24 years. Do not miss your opportunity to own this unique yacht.
Magic is currently located on the hard in Annapolis at Jabins. Please feel free to call or email to schedule your private showing.

Cons
Maintenance: As with any older vessel, the level of maintenance and upkeep required can be significant. Prospective buyers should thoroughly inspect the yacht for any wear or necessary repairs.
