Focusing on the Racer/Cruiser ideal and a reputation for sophisticated construction, C&C created a winner with the C&C 29. Big and beamy, with all the comfort that implies, she's a proven performer. Great for cruising or club racing alike. Below decks she is special for space and style and sleeps up to 6 in comfort and can entertain more. The forward cabin sports 6'4" berths, stowage shelves and storage beneath. The main salon has a 6'4" settee berths on both sides with upholstered back rests. Beneath the berths are storage areas for gear and the water tank (port side). Above the berths are shelves and lockers with sliding doors. The starboard side galley has a deep SS sink w/fresh water foot pump. The ice box is well insulated and deep. The formica counter tops have teak fiddles. There is a chart table that lifts for storage. Drawers and lockers are about for more storage and the 6'4" long quarter berth doubles as a seat for the nav station. The head is situated on the portside with vanity & sink on the starboard side. There's storage under the wash basin vanity. The washroom is private from both cabins. She has a keel-stepped masthead rig. The hull is solid fiberglass. The keel is a fin and the rudder is a high-aspect spade type. There are a number of sails - more than listed here. The boat has a Furlex Roller Furling Unit - not installed. It has a split removable drum for bending on racing sails as the head sails have rope luff tape installed. On the boat now is a Head Foil. Either can be used. This boat has only seen fresh water raced and cruised on Lake Superior and the St. Croix River. 2 owners & current owner has had it for 30 years. PHRF 174
