1978 Bristol Sloop Sold Boat in Stuart, FL US

Three years ago, I sailed this lovely lady (“At Last�) to her new port of call in Stuart, Florida, and moved aboard. I’ve truly loved living aboard, but the time has come to start a new chapter. So, I’m putting her on the market for the next lucky sailor to enjoy as much as I have. Since I’ve owned her, she has been sailed regularly, loved and is in great condition. In fact, the owner before me did a complete restoration of the boat, so I’ve really just enjoyed and maintained her. This is your chance to do the same!

She’s a 1978 Bristol 29.9’. Sloop rigged. Sails are like new. All standing and running rigging is in great condition. 15hp Yanmar diesel with 1,220 hours. Bahamian green canvass. I’ve stripped and refinished the bright work, but she’s due for another coat of varnish. She’s also due for a bottom job, but not overdue. Topside, deck and gel coat are in great shape. She draws 4.5 feet.

Interior is in great shape too. Classic teak and holly beautifully restored. The layout is perfect. Much roomier than the longer, yet narrower, 32’ Bristol. That is, in part, because the 29.9’ has a wider beam at 10.1’. Unusually large main cabin for a vessel this size. Sleeps six. Two settees that face each other, one folds out to a full berth. Fold down dining table. Walk-through head to the v-berth. Aft captain’s berth, portside stern. 12v ice box and electric head. Inverter. Hybrid sink that operates by electric push-button and/or manual foot pump. Two-burner alcohol stove. I also have a propane grill with canvass cover I would be happy to include.

Solar panel on dingy davits included. Inverter converts 12 Volt to 110 Volt AC, 400 Watt, surge capacity 800 Watt. Windex: Wind NX. GPS: Garmin 441s. Depth finder: Datamarine Corinthian S200DL. Speedometer: Datamarine Corinthian II. Autopilot: Navico WP4000 Wheelpilot. ProMariner ProSport20 dual bank battery charger.

Lots of extras included, if so desired. For instance, extra wheel for the helm (one small and one large), oversized captain’s chair, whisker pole, extra headsail, air conditioning unit, anchor(s), lines and fenders etc.
