The 170 Montauk features a thoughtfully designed exterior with nearly 18 square feet of open space in the stern area. The transom includes steps for easy boarding and disembarking, which can be reconfigured into jump seats. A full bench seat with ample storage underneath folds down to create a sun pad. The stern also offers a reversible helm seat that provides aft-facing seating, ideal for supervising swimmers or relaxing. Safety is enhanced by high rails measuring 33 inches at the bow and 30 inches at the stern, with options for a full or split bow rail to facilitate boarding.
