Marimar is hull 23 of the great 57 Bertram Model. Marimar has served her current, original owners well and is for sale due to the kids going off to college. Marimar is looking for a new family to entertain in Florida, Bahamas and Caribbean. This 57 Bertram has all the right equipment including davit, SP, watermaker and excellent electronics. She has been maintained as new standards by a demanding owner and full-time, meticulous captain since day one. New Batteries installed July 2014.
Description
The 57' Bertram is a modern version of the legendary Bertram 54' and 60' hulls. The 57' features cored hullsides and a solid fiberglass bottom with a three-stateroom, three-head floorplan.
Each Bertram features a custom Marty Lowe designer interior, real American High Gloss Cherrywood cabinetry, premium appliances, and designer fabrics. The Marimar has a custom horseshoe shaped double tufted salon couch in butter soft leather and an admidships master suite with a head and separate stall shower. In the cockpit, an oversized transom door (with gate) is standard along with a full tackle center with sink, freezer, and livewell. The engine room is lit and features a custom blue and white starboard floor.
Bertrams are built to both NMMA and CE specifications and as such all equipment installed in the Marimar can be removed through factory installed hatches, including the engines and generators. Additional features include an integral bow pulpit with windlass, davit, swim platform, overhead salon rod locker, washer/dryer, and a huge flybridge with U-shaped lounge seating forward of the helm. New Batteries installed July 2014.
