This 42' vessel is a flybridge sportfisher that was built by Bertram Yachts in 1983. It is well maintained, with recent rebuilds on the Detroit Diesels, and complete with many upgrades! It is a "fishing machine". The current owner is an experienced personal fisherman, and ex-commercial fishing captain. It has custom 1 1/4" stainless railings throughout, a custom flybridge ladder, custom "cabo" type flybridge hardtop, with C-Fab stainless EVERYWHERE. Custom bait tanks, fishboxes.... Engines and Generator
It is diesel powered by twin Detroit Diesel engines, model 6V92TA which are six-cylinder, fresh water cooled, turbo charged and rated to produce 435 horsepower each. With out of frame overhauls of engines and gearboxes in 2017. The generator is a Northern Lights that is rated to produce 9-KW and is enclosed in a sound shield.
General Condition
The exterior is in excellent condition, last waxed/buffed in early 2024. The interior is primarily original, with minor modifications, and is also in excellent condition with the following layout: In the forepeak is the chain locker followed by the forward cabin with raised V-berth. Next aft, to port is the master stateroom with double berth and adjoining head. The galley follows to starboard. Up steps to the main salon with starboard sofa seating and main electrical panel opposite. Through the salon door is the self-bailing cockpit with starboard side transom door.
