Almost all proceeds from the sale of Lady Jane will benefit the Maine Island Trail Association. MITA, "Lady Jane" underwent a major professional refit in 2006-2007 by a Michigan Boatyard, spending the winter in a heated shed. The goal was to prepare the boat for completing an Intra Coastal Waterway trip and ensure that she was in every way ready for offshore cruising. She has since completed the journey and has been lightly used for the last few years.
