Winter Passage is a ready-to-sail example of the popular Beneteau 473. Featuring the sought after 3 stateroom layout and 5'7" draft bulb keel, this offshore-capable boat can also access the skinny waters of the Chesapeake and Bahamas. The mast is ICW-friendly with a bridge clearance of 60 feet. An electric cabin-mounted winch is installed to help raise the mainsail. All lines lead to the cockpit. 12 lifting hatches provide unmatched ventilation. The vessel is equipped with reverse cycle heat and air conditioning that can operate from shore power or from the generator. The galley has great counter space, storage, and features a top loading freezer with front loading refrigerator. The large dinette is comfortable with clean upholstery and a large table for meals and entertaining. Accommodations include a proper master forward stateroom with ensuite head and a separate shower stall. Guests will enjoy twin aft staterooms with double berths and dedicated heads. Above deck you will find a large cockpit with folding leaf table with custom cushions and a walk-through transom complete with davits and a swim platform. There are wide decks and plenty of room to stretch out on the bow. When the wind picks up, crew will appreciate the stout, well-placed handholds and mast pulpits. The cockpit is enclosed with clear Isinglass and a large Bimini for comfort. An EPIRB and inspected life raft are included. In 2020 her bottom was media blasted and barrier coated, she was hauled again for two coats of ablative paint in August 2024. A diver keeps the bottom clean.
She is currently in the process of having her 3 toilets replaced.
