The Océanis 43 is an unequivocal invitation to delight in her design, comfort and performance. The hull and deck plan are the work of the Berret Racoupeau design office. Their designs have led to the creation of an aesthetically powerful and attractive yacht with remarkable sea keeping qualities. The interior architecture and design are by Nauta Design. This great Italian name, a benchmark in the super yacht world, has helped the Océanis 43 achieve her true personality! In the Beneteau 43, the benefits of the design approach are immediately apparent, and the result is an arrangement that includes all the essential elements in almost exquisite proportion.
Forward, the V-berth cabin has walk-about room, a dressing seat, a variety of stowage, and a private head and shower compartment. In the two-cabin version, the complementary cabin aft, on the starboard side, has a huge athwartships berth in addition to standing room and ample places to stow clothes and personal effects. This cabin has its own door to the main head, which contains a shower stall.
The saloon offers a large table with seating on three sides. Both settees are long enough to lie on, and lee cloths will make them comfortable sea berths. A small, though adequate, aft-facing chart desk at the foot of the port settee completes the setting. A continuous line of lockers tucked under the side decks ties the entire area together visually and extends to the galley, furnishing it with numerous eye-level storage cabinets. The galley seems utterly seaworthy. It's tucked aft, to port of the companionway, where a well-braced cook can reach the necessities: stove, front-opening fridge, top-loading freezer, drawers, and work surfaces fittingly guarded with solid fiddles.
The companionway is well proportioned, and the immediate area on entering the cabin offers plentiful handholds: stainless-steel bars on either side of the ladder and on the head partition, plus the galley fiddles."

The immediate impression upon entering the Beneteau 43 is of light and space, with the wide, open salon, light wood, and 'eyebrow' windows down the side of the coachroof, as well as hatches and windows in the coachroof. The cabin space is well-ventilated with 6 screened hatches, 7 opening portals, 5 fans, and 2 air conditioning units.
The L-shaped galley is to port of the companionway, with lots of work space and storage as well as a stove, microwave, fridge, and freezer. The previous owner has installed new cabinet fronts and a support column
Forward of the galley is the aft-facing chart table, which has electronics and electric panels close at hand. A straight salon settee doubles as a seat.
On the starboard side of the boat, entry to the aft cabin, which is fitted with storage and lockers, is next to the companionway steps. The aft head (manual), just forward of the cabin, has a separate shower accessible from the aft cabin or salon. Forward of the head compartment is the large rectangular dinette in the salon, which can be lowered to convert into a queen berth using a cushion insert.
The forward cabin has a large V-berth with built-in storage below the bunk, lockers, and an en-suite electric head.
