All the First 42s were built in France, shortly after Beneteau began production in the United States. Making this a very heavily built boat, but still extraordinarily fast, even by today�s standards. To this day there are many very competitive First 42s placing in races.
This particular boat is a one owner boat, and the right owner! In 2016 the entire mast, and standing rigging were all replaced. The new mast is a much better mast than the OEM equipment.
