This World Traveling 50 Beneteau is just that... A World Traveler. She's been happily sail across the Atlantic from the Med, along with a 7 year trip around the world, and she's settled in the Mass./ Rhode Island coastal waters, some of the best sailing grounds on the east coast. If you're considering a 50 foot sailboat, this one cannot be overlooked. Many factory upgrades including a 100 hp Yanmar Diesel Engine and two 75 amp alternators , one for battery charging, and one for the freezer system. All of the canvas' have been recently replaced, (New Bimini, Spray dodger, and Sail cover.) With a 3 spreader Mast and 8' full keel, Custom removable cockpit table, Teak Decks throughout, and Port and Starboard helm stations, she is ready to set sail for any port of call.
The deck layout on the Beneteau 50 includes wide sidedecks, a teak-covered bulwark, and judiciously located hatches that ensure easy and safe circulation on deck. The 50 features a dual cockpit configuration: the guest cockpit is well protected and offers comfort for eight people around the standard table, while the crew cockpit has two steering positions and directly accessible winches for the helmsman. Access from the stern is made easy by a built-in step and a hinged door that lead to an uncluttered passageway to both cockpits. Light and ventilation are ensured by 11 opening hatches, 14 opening ports, 6 fixed skylights, and 4 Dorade boxes.
