1986 Aqua Sport 290 Tournament Master
9500 lbs displacement Express Fisherman w/Tuna Tower and dual controls, outriggers and twin inboard, Marine Power, 325 hp gasoline engines. Boat has been in the family since new. Father fell in love with the boat after seeing it at a boat show and said "it was the best and last boat he ever would need." Mom approved after seeing the cabin and amenities. He fished extensively inshore and offshore the Mid-Atlantic States until 2001 including many overnight trips to the Baltimore and Delaware canyons and a couple "cruises" down to the Chesapeake Bay. The boat was docked in the water and used extensively each season and winterized/serviced and place in dry covered storage during the off season. It remained in dry covered storage and was not used from 2001 until 2006. Since its arrival in Florida, it has been kept in-water year round in a local Banana River marina and used in the Banana and Indian Rivers.
The engines run great. She was re-engined in 2000, but they only ran one season up north before going into extended dry storage and have operated here in FL since late 2006... both engines have approx 280 hours on them. All tanks (fuel, holding & fresh water) were also replaced in 2000. Below is the full list of specs and features:
