The American Tug 34 is a popular cruiser for all the right reasons---quality construction, practical design, ease of maintenance and economy, and offers a well appointed interior with large head, roomy stateroom and large convertible dinette sleeper. This combination of features is seldom found in many designs, especially at 34'. Which explans the longstanding appeal of the American Tug 34 in the marketplace. Currently located in South Portland Maine, Emilie B recently completed the great loop and is ready for her next adventure with you. She is currently in the water, clean, well maintained and ready for your inspection!
Starting forward is the Master Stateroom. This cabin features a center island queen berth
(76"L x 57"W). There are four large drawers under the berth, a cedar lined locker to
starboard and a locker with shelf to port. Over the bed are 2 reading lights and 2 fans.
The head is aft of the master cabin and is accessed from the bottom of the stairs from the
pilot house or the private door from the master cabin. The head is a Vacuflush fresh water
toilet. The vanity has great storage, mirrors and a Graincoat molded countertop with
integral sink. The separate shower stall is molded fiberglass with a glass door.
Up three steps is the Pilothouse. The pilothouse has entry doors and seating to port and
starboard. The seats are upholstered in cream colored ultra leather. Three large windows
provide excellent visibility. The windshield is fitted with intermittent wipers with washing
system. Red lights over chart table for night navigation.
Down three steps and aft is the Salon and Galley. The salon is to port with an L-shaped
settee that converts to a double berth. There is excellent storage underneath and in a
locker at the foot of the settee. The settee is upholstered in cream colored ultra leather. The
teak salon table is hi-lo. All the windows have pleated day-night shades.
The ships stereo, a Garmin Fusion RA-670 AM/FM/BT/Sirius XM with four speakers (2 in
salon and 2 in pilothouse) is located next to this settee.

Fitted with the Cummins 330HP diesel engine that easily cruises the tug at over 13-knots with a top end of around 17-knots. At displacement / economy speed she just sips fuell at roughly 2 GPH. 2,100 hours on the engine at the time of listing. The engine is properly accessorized with Racor 900-series fuel filter & water seperator. Groco raw water filter is included on the cooling water inlet. The Reverso oil change system is plumbed to the engine, genset and marine gear. Engine intake is filtered by a Walker Airsep to keep the engine room clean. A Borel electronics vacuum monitor is fitted to the Racor and temp gauge is fitted on the exhaust elbow with an alarm on the dash to warn of potential issues.
The Onan 5KW AC generator is mounted in a hush box inside the well insulated engine room, and fitted with a water/gas seperator muffler for ultra-quiet operation. The genset has 781 hours at the time of listing.
