46' Amel Maramu '85 "Walela"

Vessel originally built and delivered in France, then spent approximately 15 years in the Mediterranean before crossing Atlantic to Fort Lauderdale where she was sold.
After sale she went westbound through Panama Canal and up to San Francisco area for refitting.
After refitting she traveled down USA and Central America western coasts before heading to Hawaii. After Hawaii she went eastward to Alaska, then returned to San Francisco for a rest and engine replacement.
After refit she went back down USA & Central America western coasts for an east bound trip through the Panama Canal to Europe. She spent approximately 10 years in Europe touring Scotland, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy and Greece.
After Europe she returned back across the Atlantic, and westward though Panama Canal and back up to San Francisco.
The current owners bought her in 2015 and moved to San Diego and then traveled extensively up & down California coast, including Catalina and the Channel Islands. They have also had many trips deep into Mexico and Baja California as far south as Turtle Bay.
