With a large vee-berth cabin forward, a single head, a good sized salon with a convertible dinette and the quarter-berth used to house the watermaker this 1981 Allied would make a great boat for a couple to go cruising. Lots of space, generator and AC for when it gets too hot, storage everywhere you look on this beautiful Sparkman and Stephens designed fin keeled cruiser with a keel stepped mast and a skeg hung rudder. (Lead keel with stainless keel bolts and the propeller is in an arpeture.)
This aft cockpit fin keeled sloop is a proven performer having recently completed a round trip to The Bahamas and back to Kemah, TX. Very well equipped with AC, Watermaker and Generator you can have the freedom to go where ever you want. A very spacious yacht for two with the occasional guests. The quarterberth on Dauphine has been given over to the watermaker (it could be relocated) the generator lives aft of the main engine to put it is as far away from the vee-berth as possible. With a large forward forward cabin the vee-berth is spacious and the cabin has loads of storage as well. The wet head compartment is next aft to starboard with a manual commode, sink and mirror. The salon features a dinette to starboard and a straight settee opposite. Storage is everywhere in this boat with drawers, cabinets and bins everywhere. Both the settee to starboard and the dinette make single berths with lee-cloths stowed under the cushions or you can lower the dinette table to make a double berth to starboard. Further aft to port is the galley with a 3-burner Hillerange stove with oven, a single deep stainless steel sink and a top loading fridge with a freezer inside. Opposite to port is the large nav desk with storage and a a Garmin display for convenience. Behind the seat at the nav station is the quarterberth that is now occupied by the watermaker (lots of space around it for more storage)
