The Albin 28TE combines traditional styling with a Downeast look in a stout, seaworthy, offshore performance hull. A keel runs the length of the hull incorporated with a skeg that protects the prop and rudder and increases the boat's tracking and stability.
The accommodations below are compact but more complete than typical of fishing boats of this size. There is a U-shaped dinette forward, enclosed head with shower to starboard, efficiency galley to port and a double berth to port tucked under the bridge deck.
The Albin 28 delivers award-winning performance that is ready for any kind of seas. With almost 1,000 hulls produced, the Albin 28TE has a well-earned reputation for high quality, outstanding handling characteristics, economical diesel performance, and true value.
Berths for 2-3 on a convertible dinette and large port side quarter-berth. Down three steps fron the helm area there is a galley to port with a one burner propane stove, stainless steel sink w/ hot and cold pressure water, 12v/110v refrigerator and Tappan Microwave. Hot water is provided by 110v water heater as well as the engine. Opposite the galley is the head with vanity and shower, head has a Y-valve w/ 10 gallon holding tank or overboard discharge. All the way forward is the U-shaped convertible dinette. Cabin sole is teak and holly. There are 8 opening ports and an overhead hatch for venelation. There is also Cruiseaire 110v reverse cycle air conditioning.
